Fonts cause more problems in printing than anything else. Whenever possible if your program allows it convert all fonts to curves, paths or outlines before submitting your document.

Please make sure not to use a font size smaller than 7pt.

If you are submitting a PDF be sure to Embed all fonts.

If you can’t convert or embed your fonts you have to submit all the fonts used in your document along with your file.

If you import vector graphics from Illustrator, Freehand or other programs that use fonts in a graphic, logo or image make sure that you include those fonts as well. Type 1 Fonts have two parts a printer and a screen font you must included both.

Never use the Styles menu bar to stylize fonts; Bold, Italics etc. instead use the actual font i.e. Helvetica Bold”

Do not use Multiple Master Fonts – fonts that have MM in their name.
